ENMAR specializes in engineered hardwood flooring installation and can perform repairs and yearly maintenance for all types of gym floors and sports floors. Their services include sanding and refinishing, screening and recoating, board repair or replacement, line and logo application, and more.

ENMAR offers sanding and refinishing services for gym floors. The team completely removes all finish, lines, and logos from the flooring and returns the floor to bare wood. This process is usually performed every seven to ten years; however, with improper upkeep or lack of yearly maintenance and daily care, that time frame can be shorter. The total time required to sand, seal and repaint all lines and logo application is three weeks. An additional five days is needed to allow all finish and paint to cure completely.

Also, ENMAR can screen and recoat a gym floor. This process involves the abrasion of the top-coat finish and the addition of additional coats of finish with no direct sanding done to the flooring. Screening and recoating are usually performed yearly, but ENMAR recommends a biyearly screening and recoating for any surface that takes substantial usage to a smaller area—such as dance floors. ENMAR usually finishes the process in a day, but the client should allow for a minimum of three additional days of inactivity on the area so that the finish can cure completely.
