It’s a FOX 34 follow-up on a dispute involving a dog bite.Janis Stuart was bitten by a pit bull near Maedgen Elementary School at 44th and Nashville and filed a complaint. A hearing was held earlier this week to determine if the dog is dangerous.   The dog’s owner said her dog has never attacked anyone and that it is out of character. The Assistant Director for Animal Services, Kia Riemath informed the victim by letter that the dog has been ruled dangerous under local and state law. 

The dog’s owner has a right to appeal the decision within 15 days to the Municipal Court.
