Genesis Hub, Newberry’s only Fair Trade specialty coffee shop, is excited to announce that they are celebrating their one year anniversary. To commemorate the anniversary, the coffee shop is having an afternoon of celebration and invites the community to participate. On August 15, Genesis Hub will be putting on a “name your price” special for their entire drink selection. The coffee shop will also be having live music from 5 pm until 7 pm when the establishment closes.

In addition to celebrating their anniversary, Genesis Hub announces that they are rolling out a personal subscription service for bagged coffee. They have partnered with a local roaster, Apothecary Coffee Company, to bring the fresh-roasted fair-trade coffee to both local and out of state customers. Coffee enthusiasts can get locally roasted or Equal Exchange all for as low as $12.99 per pound, allowing them to save over $6 per pound. Downtown Newberry residents can have their subscription delivered for free, while other local subscribers can enjoy free local pickup at the Genesis Hub storefront. The subscription also accommodates out of state subscribers.
