The new Great Plains Equipment Rental West location held it’s official Grand Opening Ceremony on July 10, 2019.

This new location, located at 467 US-62 #82, Wolfforth, TX 79382, opened it’s doors just one month ago to meet the needs of local commerce and contractors.

To mark the Official Opening Ceremony, several Ambassadors of the Local Chamber of Commerce were in attendance. These Ambassadors, together with the management team took part in the ribbon cutting ceremony.

The Owner of Great Plains Equipment Rental, Matthew Smith also attended the ceremony, along with members of his family. Matthew Smith stated that “the location has been open for a month already and has seen positive growth in both new customers and business transactions”.

The intention behind the opening of this new location is to service the equipment rental needs of the West Lubbock, Wolfforth, and Shallowater regions. The initial trading would suggest that the newly opened location has already been embraced by the community, and is a welcome presence for any industry with an equipment rental need.

While the smaller communities of Shallowater and Wolfforth were at one time separated from Lubbock by a few miles, they are now more commonly considered to be outer suburbs of Lubbock. In fact, Wolfforth has seen quite significant growth in recent times, with reports suggesting an expansion of up to 10% in the past year alone.

It was this demographic expansion that first highlighted the need for a more localized service center. With the need identified, it was only a matter of time before this belief became a reality.
