“Nature Boy” by Nat King Cole is the first song he recorded where was credited as a solo artist and became known for his vocal talents on songs with orchestral arrangements.  Although he did not play the piano when he recorded the song, he always played the piano when he sang it live.  Nat King cole was Capitol Records’ biggest star until they signed Frank Sinatra on the label.
