Just Wright Dental is excited to now offer All-On-4® dental implants. An easy smile is an option with only minimal surgery and quicker-than-ever results. These implants provide all the benefits of fully-supported dentures and the procedure can be completed in just one day at an outpatient surgical center.

All-On-4® dental implants use four strategically-placed posts to support the bite and improve bone structure. Eating and drinking become carefree, everyday activities and make life more enjoyable. Confidence and assurance are definitely benefits, but healthy teeth and jaws are crucial for overall well-being.When partial or complete tooth loss occurs, the jawbone loses the pressure and stimulation that are a part of the normal biting and chewing process. This can result in loss of bone density and strength. Traditional dental implants or dentures are often used in these cases to preserve bone loss.  All-On-4® dental implants are a big improvement on these traditional services.   Dental implants consist of titanium posts that fuse with the jawbone and function as part of it. A crown is then attached to these posts. All-On-4® dental implants differ in that only four dental implants are required for each arch of teeth. This process ensures that future bone loss is minimized and that the patient has a fully-functioning set of teeth.

During the first appointment, Dr. Wright will perform a full dental exam and take x-rays to determine the best course of action. If the patient is a candidate, the procedure will be scheduled at the outpatient surgical center.

The implants are inserted while the patient is under general anesthesia. Any remaining teeth will first be removed along with any infected or diseased tissue. Next, the posts will be inserted into the jawbone. Two implants are normally put in the front of the mouth, and two are placed in the back of the mouth. Because only four implants are required, the surgical process can be completed in one day.

After the patient has healed from the implant procedure, the patient will return to Dr. Wright’s office to be fitted with an acrylic or porcelain crown. This crown will be made in an outside lab and designed to fit well in the patient’s mouth. After the crown is inserted, the process is complete. And each completion is another bright smile for Navarro County.
