Bolt Manufacturer Enhances Operations With Newly Expanded Facility – Oldies 97.7 FM

Bronx, United States – June 7, 2019 / BACO Enterprises, Inc. /

Structural fastener manufacturer and distributor, Baco Enterprises Inc. is pleased to announce a new expansion, enabling them to greatly enhance their service capabilities and offerings.

With the recent expansion to 78,000 square feet of facility space, Baco Enterprises has taken its approach to being “four companies in one” to a whole new level. Now operating in two additional buildings, located adjacent to their Bronx headquarters, the structural component and service provider will be significantly growing their bolt inventory, fastener manufacturing capabilities, and miscellaneous steel fabrication production speeds.

The new space includes more storage for their already vast selection of bolts, along with boosted production capabilities dedicated to anchor and long length bolt manufacturing. Current and new customers can now choose from a wider inventory of fasteners that have been manufactured or imported, inspected, and shipped from New York City. The adoption of a second Skidmore bolt testing machine will also provide expanded in-house bolt testing, giving customers the option to have testing services completed on a daily basis and with or without third party inspection.

In addition to their fastener manufacturing and inventory growth, the company has further invested in many additional service capabilities that are dedicated to the needs of steel fabricators in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. Leading these capabilities is the inclusion of the Peddinghaus HSFDB-2500/C plate processor.

As the third and newest of Baco Enterprises’s 400 amp plasma units, the HSFDB-2500/C plate processor will enable the company to provide exceptional quality plates, produced at the highest part-per-hour throughput out of any machine on the market.

Baco Enterprises has regularly provided miscellaneous steel fabrications and parts using two eight-foot-wide plasma cutting water tables. With this equipment, the plate is kept stationary while the plasma unit sits on a gantry that moves back and forth to cut parts. It’s possible to cut plates up to two inches by piercing and up to three inches with an edge cut and at fairly impressive speeds using this method.

The state-of-the-art Peddinghaus will greatly accelerate on the company’s part production rates. This improved speed is made possible by rolling the plate through the machine to complete the cut. Baco Enterprises’ drilling, milling, tapping, countersinking, and counterboring capabilities will also be enhanced thanks to the incorporation of the new plate processor. Exceptional clarity carbide stamping, which provides more defined and easy-to-read results than what can otherwise be scribed with a standard plasma unit, will also be possible.

Baco Enterprises Inc. is proud to state that these capabilities are currently up and running in their newly expanded space. With so many enhancements now fully implemented, they are ready to build upon decades of reliable service and a sterling reputation.
